The body of a man from Austin, Texas named John Ryan Kern was discovered late on Sunday night in a smoldering house in Travis County. Zachary Salinas, his roommate, was detained and accused with murder. According to authorities, Zak Salinas fatally stabbed Kern, 36, and then set fire to the Austin house to destroy any traces of the crime.
